About this book

In the early 1940s, Hassan Al-Attar enters a secluded orphanage on the outskirts of Alexandria. The children wake after sunset, sleep during daylight, and are forbidden to approach a small abandoned building nearby. As Hassan tests these severe instructions, the institution's hidden history begins to emerge and every breach threatens frightening consequences.
