My Diaries in the Time of Corona: When the World Stopped

About this book

When streets emptied and ordinary schedules disappeared, Naguib Al-Sharif began recording the altered rhythm of life under the coronavirus pandemic. These diary pages move between deserted public spaces and the fear contained behind closed doors, preserving small details that statistics could never hold. Isolation, uncertainty, family concern, and unexpected solidarity become parts of a personal testimony to a world abruptly paused. The author does not claim the distance of a historian; he writes from inside the bewilderment, asking what remains meaningful when familiar routines collapse. The result is a human document about vulnerability, endurance, and the fragile connections people learned to value anew.
